Default Christmas gifts for your twinks (and others kids)

Have we done a threat like this yet?

What are you getting for kids? Are you done shopping yet for them? Do your kids still believe? Mine do, wholeheartedly and it's such much fun!

I've done some very minor shopping - books only so far - we're doing books, games, lego for Will (he's starting to get into that now), and probably an easy bake oven for Caroline.

DS loves hockey so I"ll chip in with some tickets to the local JR A game for Will and DH and I'll find some similar for Caroline (local dance /musical production).

Their 6th b'day is at the end of January so I'll have to go through this again (maybe new sleds?)

They haven't ask for anything specific yet, but I am guessing it will be games for the Wii and NDS.

We've held off on the Wii and DS so far, although they have been expressing more interest. Our friends bought their girls a Wii last Xmas and after about six months they lost interest. I think that is likely not typical though. C would never put a DS down. She loves video games and sometimes DH will hook up his playstation to our TV in the family room and she'll play forever! She's DH down to a tee!

I got them their DS after they graduated from Kinder and they still play with it almost daily, they love it. The Wii we got it for their birthday (6) in October and they love it, especially the Mario games. They're actually playing it right now as I type this.

We want to start skating as a family this year so we're getting skate (I have to check out play it again) and helmets.

We've always done one thing from santa and L wants a flute, C wants a pink pony (secured from Winners), and E is still undecided.

We're giogn to get them a wii game this year. We only have wii sports and the older two (5) really enjoy doing their fitness tests and playing tennis against each other...oh and bowling. I'm not sure what game to get - I wish they had more educational games.

The boys are want a DSi. Mommy said it's a waste of money, so they are going to ask Santa. Santa already has it on his sled.

Mine have asked for Zhu Zhu pets and a Build a Bear so far. They do not believe anymore. :sad

But Santa is still coming. I have told them that I doubt I can get the Zhu Zhu pets. They are trying really hard to figure out where I used to hide the Santa gifts and so keep poking around the house. This year, I am hiding gifts at my parents' cottage. No one is living there right now and it is perfect. They will never find the gifts and maybe it will still be magical.

All my kids are getting lego this year. They are suddenly all into it and everyone is old enough for little pieces. So everyone is getting an age appropriate nice lego set. Then I have these Hannah Montana dolls that I found 2 for $10 at walmart and that's all I've got so far.

I'll try to pick up something else as well. My twins want ds's because their older sibs have them but I have a you have to be 8 years old rule here, so they will have to wait and they know it.

Maddy I will probably probably get ds games - she doesn't have many as she just got her ds and a couple games for her birthday last month. Probably transformers and maybe ds games for Michael. New clothes for Melissa who has been complaining about her non-school uniform wardrobe or lack thereof (i have NOTHING to wear!). I'm thinking about books too. Do you think 10 1/2 is too young for Harry Potter? She hasn't read those yet?

My twins birthday is Feb 2nd, and a friend is getting ds's for her 2 and said she will give me her leapsters and games for my twins for their birthdays (Feb 2nd). So if that works out it would be great - otherwise I'll look for stuff for them after Christmas.

I'm not too worried about lots of gifts for them because there are other relatives. I already know that the relatives on my side of the family are giving Michael his own digital camera, Melissa an ipod nano, Maddy new ds games and a ds case/purse, and my twins are getting really fancy Christmas dresses with matching tights/sweaters and shoes and some art stuff.

No idea what their dad's side will come up with but I'm sure they will have something at least from their Aunt/Uncle on that side (who have no kids) and probably my ex will get them each something - he's really iffy on gifts though - not a huge gift person. Hit and miss on whether or not he'll thinking to buy them anything for birthdays/Christmas.

I'm about 1/2, 3/4 done. Leif is the only one I'm stumped on...Lego, Geotrax, imaginatex...dinosaurs, superheros, etc. He likes everything, so It's a little difficult. I like a few of the playmobil sets, but I'm still mulling it over. I do have a superhero game for him, a few books and such for his stocking, as well as new toothbrush, socks, etc.

For Micah, I have a wooden barn, some Schleil horses and pop-beads (She loves a set at my parents, to make jewellry with. For her stocking, horse card game, horse book, horse paper dolls that my mother found, more horse figurines, new toothbrush, socks, etc. Bubble bath and bath paint.

For Noa, wooden doll house, dolls for the doll house and pop beads. For her stocking, tinkerbell house, paperdolls, cinderella book, etc. New toothbrush, socks, etc and bubble bath and paint.

For Gideon, take along thomas roundhouse, firestation and bridge, pop-up Thomas tent and a thomas toddler bag. For his stocking, more trains, bubble bath and thomas books.

For Bronte, a light up Winnie Poo glow bug and a few baby toys.

Thay are a little hamspter that rolls around. Nora has one, and she took it to the hospital with her last month.

We were letting it roll around the hospital halls while she walked around with her IV. They make annoying noises. You can buy little wheels and cages for them like a real hamspter.
