I'm Emerald, SAHM to many. My stepdaughter is 24, my sons are 20 and 15, and the rest are not far behind. I've made it through a few teenage years, but I still have a long way to go.

My dd is 16 going on 30 and my ds is 14 and is currently planning to be rich by inheriting money from someone he has yet to meet. We still have work to do on his plans for his life.

I have a step-son who is 14. He does not live with us, but we still experience those teenage-type dramas.
Sometimes I think it's harder - we don't see him very much these days -he's so busy - but when we do, it's like it's a vacation for him and he doesn't think he's expected to do anything, which sometimes I think is how dh treats the situation also.

Sorry guys, just saw this was added.

My oldest is 14. As most of you can relate, she may not make it to 15. Of course right now I am really able to torture her. She has started antibiotics/rx cream for the acne on her back and chest. I keep telling her it is better there then on her face. She gets her wisdom teeth pulled on the the 10th and her braces put on April 3.

DS is 13, heading off to high school next year (Gr. 9). DD is 11, with all the hormones and attitude of a teenager!

I am new here. It's great to see a parents of teens forum.

My oldest is 20. He has moved out, come back, now disappeared again. He's not doing anything about getting his life together.

My second child is 18. She is doing very well with having her lfe together, but she constantly comments on how shitty I am doing.

My middle boy is almost 16. He play the trumpet and the guitar. He nearly always has something dramatic going on.

Our twins are 2 years old.

Most of the time this is a madhouse.
