Just today my account switched to the new format that everyone has been talking about. All I get is a news feed when I log on. Is there any way I can get just a status feed? I do not care what everyone is doing online just when they update their status. This is what I used to have. HELP!

I havent been able to figure out how to just get status updates. I agree I could care less who is friends with who.

I think you have to set it up through your options and hide the stuff you don't want.

Mine switched today, too and it's taking me forever to find everything. (grumble).

I'm still overly ticked because at Facebook's latest upgrade (last week) it was set up so if you have dial-up (like me) most of the games like Pet Society will not load anymore... it times out & gives you this big fat error message. I'm upset since I've been using PS as a reward system for Holli when she's good. It's actually her cat not mine.

But now it won't load up and I've had an unhappy child since then.

It's time to convince the husband to upgrade my measly cell-phone to a blackberry or one of those other fancier versions so I can get my (her) games back.

I tried to find it in my settings to change it and cant find it. Argh!

On the left side of the screen, under your picture and under newsfeed, events, etc. there is a friends option. Click the friends, and then choose status updates. That brings the screen back to just status updates, and gets rid of all the other nonsense. That's what worked for me. :-)

I cant get my friends list to come up. Only recently updated, search for new friends and whose on line!

I think they fucked up big time. I want to hide my game activity and not fill everybody's walls with that shit. This is suppose to be EASIER? Fuck You FB!

Yeah... my news feed is totally screwed up. I'm not seeing the Mafia Wars stuff anymore but that's fine.... but now I also can't see the pet Society notifications so I can claim my bonus money OR everyone's Farkle2 scores since I'm playing competitively with 3 other people. Gah!!!!! And I'm pretty certain that people have updated their statuses since last night but they won't show up in the feed.

Oh and did I mention it took me about 10 minutes of figuring out where the damn LOGOUT button was. Why would they hide the logout button? It's a conspiracy I tell you!
