What about roller skates? Has anyone bought these for their kids? Eliza really wants some, but I don't know what to start with. Do you always start with the 4 wheels, or should I just get her the rollerblades?

We got Maddy the rollerblades last year. She still can't use them, so I would say go with the four wheeled skates. I went with rollerblades only because Maddy's feet are so big I couldn't find four wheeled in stock in her size . I should have just sucked it up and ordered online.

Rolllerblading is so different from rollerskating, you just need to pick one and go for it. Most kids rollerblade and not skate around here so I never bothered with rollerskates.
