Default murderous thoughts, with happy snapper

Dear Cocksucker (your new name, because that is the ONLY way I can think of that you got to be in management):

I am so fed up with you I’m about to cry.

YOU FUCKING SUCK SO HARD CORE. You are THE worst manager I have ever had, and that is saying a LOT around here, considering I’ve had a total of 7 just in the in my last 2 years here, one of whom was Senor Douchebag, and they have all pretty much sucked.

Anyway, communication seems to be a really tough thing for you to accomplish. So let me explain how it works. You can pick up the phone and call me. You can send me an email. You can even send me a text message or IM. None of those take very much time or effort.

So the next time you’re canceling a meeting? A meeting that I got up at 4am and drove 2 hours to get here to participate in and had to set up all kinds of childcare? The meeting that brought me here, where I have to drive another two hours or more home, depending on traffic? Resulting in a day that wears me the fuck out? COULD YOU MOTHERFUCKING TELL ME? Everyone else on the team knows. And here I am, 30 minutes before the meeting starts, and someone asks me why I’m here. I say for the meeting. They go, “Oh, it’s canceled. You didn’t know?” GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

God, you worthless sack of SHIT. Not that I'm counting, but this is the third fucking time you've done this to me in 2 months. I’m going to start calling you at 4am when I wake up on meeting days to wake your dumb ass up and ask you if you canceled the goddamned meeting.

Man, that really sucks! Do y'all not use Outlook for your meetings? Everything is scheduled at CVS.

That is a serious party foul. One of our "culture" issues is when people don't give enough notice. Not giving any notice would be WAY bad.

It sucks to have a shitty boss.

Yes, well, one of our "virtues" is "dealing with ambiguity." I need a new job so hard.

That is rediculous!

Do you submit time and mileage for the meetings? If not, you should submit an expense claim for the mileage anyway- no way you should have to cover the expense for an unnecessary trip and you should ask for a lieu day for the day you wasted. If you do submit time, then include a generous amount of travel time in your hours, no way you should not be compensated for your lost time.

I don't keep regular office hours, but I am expected to be at most staff meetings - usually once/week. I started submitting my time based on travel time being included. It wasn't worth my while to get childcare and spend the mileage to go to a meeting and be paid for 1 hour.

I would be so F***ing pissed if I drove all that way for a cancelled meeting! You took it much better than I would have! Did you chew him out?

No, I just vented to sympathetic coworkers and TKers But, another thing I did... Senor Douchebag got a job in another dept, and his team was taken over by a guy who was an almost-a-manager who I LOVE. He also used to live where I do and has done the commute, and knows how much it sucks. And he has kids and knows there is life outside of work. Anyway, I asked him to do whatever it takes to get me pulled onto his team, and he was pretty sure he could do it. Now I just wait...
