| How do I upgrade my membership? |
| Go to your usercp (user control panel) and look in the left-hand column. Scroll down to "Subscriptions" and select it. In this section, you will be given the opporunity to select from any number of subscriptions. In this instance, you want "Paid Membership." Pay with PayPal, and you will be automatically upgraded. |
| Why are there some forums I can't see? |
| The forums you can't see, or those in which there seem to be no posts, are part of the upgraded subscription. Once you are a paid member, you will be able to see all of the forums. Go to your usercp and select paid subscriptions to read about them. |
| Can I list items for sale in The Blue Light Special |
| The Blue Light Special and its subforums are our selling forums, similar to Ebay and Freecyle. Buying in these forums is free to all registered members. If you would like sell items in these great forums and you are not a paid member or buy a seller's store, you'll need to subscribe. Go to your usercp and select "subscriptions." Inside, you will see an option for selling in Teabay.
Paid members do not have to pay anything extra to sell in Teabay. Your Teabay membership is included in your paid member subscription. |
| How do I gift an upgraded membership to a friend? |
| Go to your usercp under paid subscriptions and purchase the Gift a Paid Membership for the amount of $15.00. Afterwards, please email the_tea@twinshock.net and let her know who the membership is for. Once she has received your payment, she will upgrade your friend, and you will get a new ribbon, or an addition to the one you have for gifted memberships. |
| What are the avatar restrictions? |
| For paid members, you may have an avatar no bigger than 150x150. |
| I bought my avatar and loaded it, but it isn't showing up. |
| Make sure you have refreshed. Many times, your new avatar will show up after you post a thread asking why you can't see it. So, go post, and it will show up. |
| What is the significance of the ribbons? |
| If you click on any of the ribbons in another member's profile, you will be taken to the page upon which all of the ribbons are explained. Each ribbon is awarded for a wide variety of member activities: contests, posts, avatars, both good and bad accomplishments. The Tea awards them at her leisure. |
| Can I turn off the avatars? |
| Yes. Go to your usercp, the icon located in the top left corner of the navigation bar and select "Edit Options." Scroll down until you see the options "Show Avatars/Show Images/Show Signatures." Select or deselect the ones you would like to turn on of off. |
| How do I get a TwinShock email address? |
| This is a feature for paid members only. If you would like one, email the_tea@twinshock.net and let her know you want one. You will only be able to send with a twinshock.net address if you have outlook or outlook express. Otherwise, your twinshock emails will simply be forwarded to your normal email account. |
| How do I post a picture? |
| After you write the text of your post, scroll down to the box that reads "manage attachments." Select it and browse for your photo. Select upload. If your image meets the size requirements, it will be uploaded and will appear in your post. More than one image in a post will show as links. Only one photo posted will appear as the actual picture in your post. |

| Do you have a place in which I can sell things? |
| Yes, we do, and it is a series of forums called The Blue Light Special. In these forums you can freecycle, link to your ebay auctions, and sell your items for either a set price or auction style. You must be a paid member of TwinShock in order to sell in The Blue Light Special forums. |
